Your adventure begins with a scenic drive to the Durrells’ residence known as “The White House,” the former abode of Lawrence and Nancy Durrell. This picturesque Venetian mansion is situated on the shores of Kalami Bay, ensconced amidst olive groves and cypress trees.
Discover various villas within the estate, some of which may have undergone slight modifications since their literary descriptions. Explore the Strawberry-Pink Villa and the “Annemoyani Villa” (Daffodil Yellow Villa), emanating an eerie sense of the past. Wander through the three floors, marveling at the mansion’s towering walls, expansive veranda, and overgrown gardens that have stood the test of time.
