Proyecto Asis Wildlife Rehabilitation Center – Volunteer Experience
Learn about wildlife conservation and have the chance to interact with animals at this rescue and rehabilitation center
Explore Proyecto Asis, a center dedicated to wildlife rehabilitation and rescue. A knowledgeable naturalist guide will lead you through the facility, introducing you to the animals residing there and sharing their unique stories. You may encounter anteaters, monkeys, snakes, parrots, sloths, and more. Since the center aims to release as many animals back into their natural habitats as possible, the wildlife you see may vary. During your visit, you’ll gain insights into conservation and sustainability. As part of the volunteer tour, you’ll have hands-on experiences with the animals. You’ll learn how to prepare and serve food to them, interact under the guide’s supervision, assist in cleaning enclosures, or even craft toys for the animals. This experience promises unforgettable memories!
Highlights include interacting with monkeys, sloths, snakes, and more at the rescue center, learning about wildlife conservation from a naturalist guide, and assisting the center’s staff with animal care and feeding.
