Overview
Before you start painting, you will receive a briefing on the historical significance of the site. The Parthenon was constructed by the Ancient Greeks between 447-432 BCE as a tribute to the Goddess Athena, the guardian of Athens. This marble temple, showcasing remarkable Greek architecture, boasts of no straight lines or angles and is adorned with 46 outer and 19 inner tapered Doric columns.
To enhance your painting skills, a short workshop on drawing and painting techniques will be provided. Gain insights into color combinations, creating perspective, and capturing the distinctive architectural elements of the Parthenon. All necessary materials, including a canvas, pencils, brushes, and paints, will be supplied by your host.
