Located next to Iceland’s expansive Vatnajökull National Park is the renowned Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, famous for its breathtaking scenery, floating icebergs, and diverse wildlife. The lagoon is connected to two other Icelandic glaciers, Breiðamerkurjökull and Vatnajökull, which is the largest ice cap in Europe. Eventually, the lagoon’s waters flow onto Diamond Beach, a stunning black-sand beach, before emptying into the Atlantic Ocean.
