Blue Lagoon & Šolta Island Boat Tour
Overview
Embark early in the morning from either Trogir or Split and sail first through the Trogir archipelago to anchor in the small, protected Blue Lagoon (Krknjaši) on the southeastern end of Drvenik Veli. While there’s little to do on the island, it’s the unspoiled nature and stunning azure waters of the island’s coastline that draw visitors. Here you’ll have the pleasure of spending time swimming and snorkeling directly off the boat, building up an appetite for your next island exploration: Šolta Island.
A world away from modern life, Šolta is one of southern Dalmatia’s more tranquil islands covered in hilly scrubland and olive groves dotted with small clusters of stone-house villages, secluded coves, and charming harbors. Along the way to Stomorska, you’ll stop at a couple of settlements to indulge in a wine tasting experience paired with Dalmatian delights like sage honey, brandy, almonds, and dried fruit. Upon arriving in Stomoroska’s scenic port—the final destination of the tour and Šolta’s oldest town—you can soak in the lively harbor atmosphere and subtle charm: quaint captains’ residences, small yards and gardens, and narrow lanes with flowerpot-adorned staircases.
