Embark on a delightful day trip from Paris to the Chablis region in Burgundy, where you’ll explore some of the best vineyards and indulge in award-winning wines. Your journey begins with a pick-up in Paris, followed by a scenic drive through the picturesque French countryside. Your first tasting adventure awaits at a family-owned vineyard known for its exceptional chardonnay. Take a break for lunch in the medieval village of Noyers before heading to a historic estate to sample pinot noirs and sauvignon blancs in cellars built by the Knights Templar. Wrap up your day with the region’s finest bubbly at a renowned crémant producer.
Highlights of this experience include a scenic drive from Paris to the Chablis region, where you’ll taste over 10 award-winning wines, meet winemakers at a historic estate dating back to 1453, explore the charming town of Noyers-sur-Serein, and sip on the effervescent crémant de Bourgogne in ancient underground cellars.
Before you go, note that the duration of this tour is 12 hours and is recommended for ages 7 and up. It is a small group tour with a maximum of 8 people, and you’ll enjoy a tasting of 10+ different wines throughout the day.
Your day will start with a meet-up near the Arc de Triomphe, followed by a scenic drive to the Chablis region. You’ll visit a family-owned estate for a tour of their vineyards and a tasting session of at least seven different wines. After exploring Noyers-sur-Serein, you’ll head to Domaine Bersan, a family-run estate established in 1453, where you’ll taste five signature wines. The tour concludes at Bailly-Lapierre, a prominent crémant de Bourgogne producer, where you’ll learn about the wine-making process and enjoy three different varieties.
This experience departs daily at 7:00 am and includes transportation in a luxury minibus, a knowledgeable guide, all entrance tickets, wine tastings, winery tours, and a sparkling flute glass keepsake. Say farewell to your guide near the Arc de Triomphe after a relaxing drive back to Paris.
