Your journey will commence with a scenic transfer to the trailhead along the Ryfylke National Tourist Road, where you will be treated to breathtaking vistas of majestic mountains, tranquil fjords, and glistening lakes. As you make your way, you will traverse through the world’s longest underwater road tunnel.
The beginning of the hike will take you past Hagalid Mountain Farm, a charming abode for sheep and Christmas trees. During the summer months, you can explore the farm’s historic structure, Sofie’s House, which showcases the exquisite craftsmanship of local artisans. Your guide will then guide you back down to the mountain farm, where you can unwind at Hagalid’s cozy café with a steaming cup of coffee, traditional Norwegian waffles, or a comforting bowl of homemade soup.
