The beginning of the hike will take you past Hagalid Mountain Farm, a charming abode for sheep and Christmas trees. During the summer months, you can explore the farm’s historic structure, Sofie’s House, which showcases the exquisite craftsmanship of local artisans. The trail will lead you through marshlands, farmlands, woodlands, and meadows, offering glimpses of Ullsvikjuvet Gorge, Jøsenfjord, and the picturesque islands and peaks of Ryfylke.

Following a moderately challenging route, you will eventually reach the summit of Skomakarnibbå, perched approximately 2,300 feet (700 m) above Jøsenfjord. After the break, your guide will accompany you back to the trailhead before transporting you back to Stavanger.
